Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Can you believe we are now in 2022? Time is just flying by and with that, I have made some changes to my site, starting with a new theme. I’m still finding my way around and will slowly add pages and new posts, so please bear with me.

Sadly, when I downgraded from my previous plan, my image storage went way down. I’m a little miffed about this! This means that in order to manage the storage situation, I will have to delete old posts and lots of images to make room for new posts. So annoying!

As previously mentioned, I no longer have a gallery of paintings to purchase from, but from time to time I might offer items for sale in a post, once I figure out how to do so. I have a small gallery of paintings on the Gallery page and will add more as time goes on, and delete older pieces to keep the image storage in check. This is super frustrating! Oh well.

But for this post I want to share a few 2022 calendars I have created that showcase my best work. One is of Pastels and the other is Oil Paintings. You can purchase them at my online store at RRB Studio. They are only $21.10 each.

Here are a few images of the Pastel calendar:

The printing on the calendar is beautiful and I’m very pleased with the quality. You can choose if you would like holidays printed on the calendar and there are a variety of frame styles for the days. The calendar is sized at 8.5″x11″ and the images are a full bleed.

I spent the entire month of December working on making ephemera for a new junk journal. I joined a 25 day ephemera challenge with 49 Dragonflies. You can check out her You Tube channel HERE. It was a lot of fun and it so relaxing to tear and glue paper! I’ll share my journal when I have it all put together, but I decided to take a break from pastels for December. I will be getting back into pastel work soon with fresh eyes, and plan on focusing my work in still life during the winter months.

Happy New Year! I hope you have a great celebration and stay safe! Below is a great quote and it’s my wish for you! As always, much, much love and thanks for stopping by. ~ Rhonda

“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art – write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.” ~ Neil Gaiman
